Bernardus Irmanto

The third Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (“EGMS”) of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (PT Vale) has officially appointed Mr. Bernardus Irmanto as President Director and Chief Executive Officer, with a term of office extending until the 2027 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

Bernardus Irmanto has been involved in the mining industry for more than 20 years, starting in the field of information technology (IT). Bernardus Irmanto earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta in 1997 and a master's degree in computer science and engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, in 2002. In addition, in 2016, Bernardus Irmanto completed the global executive MBA program from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)-National University of Singapore (NUS) Anderson School of Management.

The Board of Commissioners has appointed Mr. Bernardus Irmanto, currently serving as Director and Chief of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Officer, as the Acting President Director (PD-CEO) of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, effective April 24, 2025, until the  Shareholders' General Meeting (AGMS) appoints a new President Director and CEO.

Abu Ashar

Abu Ashar earned a Masters in Management, Economics, and Business at Hasanuddin University, Makassar. Abu has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He appointed as Deputy President and Director of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk at the General Meeting of Shareholders on June 10, 2024.

Heriyanto Agung Putra obtained a Master’s degree in Business Strategy and Policy from the University of Indonesia. He has extensive experience in Human Resources, particularly in the aviation and financial industries.

Budiawansyah obtained a Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety from the University of Indonesia. He has been working at PT Vale since 2004 and has over 10 years of leadership experience in the areas of Safety, Health, and Operational Risk at PT Vale. Most recently, he served as Head of Institutional Relations & Permits. Currently Budiawansyah serves as Director and Chief Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Officer.

Rizky Andhika Putra

Rizky Andhika Putra previously served as Executive Staff of Vice Minister Office, Ministry of State Owned Enterprise. Rizky has 10 years of experience in the financial sector. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President - Department Head Wholesale Special Asset Management of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in 2021-2023. Currently Rizky serves as Director and Chief Financial Officer.

Muhammad Asril

Muhammad Asril completed his studies at Hasanuddin University, Makassar. Has 18 years of work experience at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. He started his career as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Supervisor and currently serves as Deputy Head of Mine. Currently Asril serves as Director and Chief Project Officer.

Luke Mahony

Luke Mahony earned a Master of Geomechanics at the University of New South Wales Australia. 21 years of experience in the mining industry. Joined VALE in 2014 in the position of General Manager Resource Development & Long Term Planning. currently holds the position of Chief Technical Officer.

Slamet Sugiharto

Slamet Sugiharto holds a Master’s degree in Economic Geology from Institut Teknologi Bandung. With a career spanning over 30 years in the mining industry, he began as a Junior Geologist in 1994 and has since held various senior leadership roles. His extensive experience includes strategic positions at PT Timah Indonesia and PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), where he served as Senior Vice President and Division Head of Strategic Reserves Development in 2025. Currenly Slamet serves as Director and Chief Strategy and Technical Officer.
