Performance
PT Vale continues to create positive social impacts through its Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM), investing US$4.73 million in 2025, an increase of 18.35% from the previous year. The program focuses on education, health, economic empowerment, infrastructure, and environmental management across Sorowako, Morowali, and Pomalaa.
Key achievements included providing clean water infrastructure to 8 villages, supporting more than 300 households through electricity subsidy programs, empowering 133 MSMEs in Sorowako, involving 100 cocoa farmers in certification preparation in Pomalaa, supporting 80 farmers through sustainable agriculture programs in Morowali, and delivering health and development programs in 13 villages.

Grievance channels and mechanism
PT Vale provides a community grievance mechanism that enables communities to raise concerns related to the social and environmental impacts of its operations through multiple accessible channels. All grievances are recorded, verified, and addressed through dialogue and appropriate corrective actions. In addition, PT Vale operates the Vale Whistleblower Channel (VWC), independently managed by Deloitte Indonesia, which allows employees, contractors, customers, and community members to confidentially, including anonymously, report suspected ethics and compliance violations.
